Meet Your Lead Trainer: Monika Czernik MSc
Your training at Promed is delivered by Monika Czernik – an advanced aesthetic practitioner, psychotherapist, and international lecturer with an MSc in aesthetics. Monika founded Promed Training with a single goal: to raise the standard of aesthetic education in the UK by delivering training that is genuinely clinical, genuinely practical, and genuinely transformative for her students’ careers.
As both the lead trainer and working clinic director, Monika brings the rare combination of daily clinical experience and expert teaching methodology to every course. Do I need a medical background to attend aesthetic training courses in London?
No. Many of our most popular courses are open to complete beginners with no medical background – including our Combined Anti-Wrinkle & Dermal Filler Foundation Course. We also welcome nurses, doctors, dentists, and beauty therapists. When booking, you’ll be guided to the course level that best matches your background and goals.
Are your aesthetic courses CPD accredited?
Yes. All Promed Training courses are CPD accredited, and you’ll receive a certificate of completion at the end of your training day. This accreditation is recognised by major UK aesthetic insurance providers, meaning your certificate can be used to support your insurance application immediately after completing training.

All practical courses are delivered at our training academy and aesthetic clinic at 521–525 Battersea Park Road, London SW11 in Battersea, South West London. The clinic is easily accessible from Battersea Power Station (Elizabeth Line) and Clapham Junction. Some theory modules are available online.

Do you provide live models for training?
Yes. We provide live models for all practical training courses. You do not need to find your own patients. This is a deliberate part of our training design: working with real patients in a real clinic environment is the closest preparation to professional practice, and produces measurably better outcomes than mannequins or peer practice.
What is the trainer-to-student ratio?
We keep our groups small – typically 1:1 or 2:1 student-to-trainer ratios. Your trainer gives you personalised feedback and coaching throughout the day. Small group sizes are consistently the most praised aspect of Promed training in our student reviews.
What qualifications will I receive after completing a course?
You’ll receive a CPD certificate of completion for each course you attend. This is accepted by UK aesthetic insurance providers. Some courses also include brand-specific or product-specific certification where relevant. Your certificate will reference the treatment area, training duration, and competencies covered.

Can beauty therapists attend your aesthetic courses?
Yes, beauty therapists are welcome on many of our courses. Non-injectable courses such as HydraFacial, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, and Mesotherapy are fully open to beauty therapists. For injectable courses, we’ll advise clearly on any scope-of-practice requirements at the point of booking.
Can I book a 1-to-1 training session?
Yes. We offer dedicated 1:1 training sessions directly with Monika Czernik MSc – entirely tailored to your current skillset and the areas you want to develop. 1:1 sessions are the most personalised format we offer and can be focused on any treatment area. Do you offer training for qualified practitioners who want to advance specific skills?
Absolutely. Many of our students are working practitioners who attend Promed to extend their treatment menu or refine a specific technique. Advanced courses, masterclasses, and 1:1 sessions are all designed with experienced practitioners in mind. There is no requirement to repeat foundation-level content if you are already certified in that area.
