Our CPD accredited one day PRP training course in London teaches platelet rich plasma for skin rejuvenation and hair loss. PRP is prepared by centrifuging a patient’s own blood to concentrate platelets and the growth factors they carry, then reinjecting that concentrate into the treatment area to stimulate collagen production and tissue repair.
PRP remains the most widely requested regenerative treatment in UK aesthetic clinics, and the most commercially reliable one to add to a treatment menu. It is used for facial rejuvenation, under-eye hollowing, acne scarring, skin texture and androgenic hair loss.
Training takes place at our Battersea academy in groups of one or two students per trainer. You will prepare PRP and treat live models under direct supervision.

What is PRP treatment?
Platelet rich plasma is prepared by drawing a small volume of the patient’s blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets. The concentrate is then injected into the treatment area, where the growth factors stimulate collagen production and tissue repair.
Do I need a medical background to take the PRP course?
You need to fall into one of these groups: doctor, dentist, nurse or cosmetologist, or a student holding a minimum Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification together with Level 3 and 4 Anatomy and Physiology. You also need existing phlebotomy competence.
Do I need phlebotomy training before the PRP course?
Yes, because you will be drawing blood on the day. If you are not yet trained, our Masterclass includes phlebotomy certification, or take our Phlebotomy course at £350 first.
