iPRF Training Course London

Our CPD accredited one day iPRF training course in London teaches injectable platelet rich fibrin, the second-generation development of PRP. iPRF is prepared from the patient’s own blood using a slower, lower-force spin, which produces a natural fibrin scaffold rather than a liquid plasma. That scaffold releases growth factors gradually over seven to ten days instead of all at once, which is why iPRF is increasingly chosen for facial rejuvenation, under-eye treatment and hair restoration.

Training runs at our Battersea academy in groups of one or two students per trainer. You will prepare iPRF and treat live models under direct supervision, so you leave able to perform the treatment rather than simply having watched it.

iPRF requires no additives or anticoagulants. Because the product is entirely autologous, the risk of allergic reaction is minimal, which is one of the reasons patients increasingly request it by name.

iPRF Training Course FAQs

What is iPRF?

iPRF stands for injectable platelet rich fibrin. It is produced by spinning a patient’s own blood at a lower speed than PRP, which preserves a fibrin matrix along with platelets and white blood cells. The result is a gel-like product that releases growth factors gradually rather than immediately.

What is the difference between iPRF and PRP?

PRP is a liquid plasma concentrate prepared at higher centrifuge speeds, usually with an anticoagulant. iPRF is spun slower and without additives, so it retains a fibrin scaffold and releases growth factors over roughly seven to ten days. PRP acts faster; iPRF acts longer. Many practitioners offer both, which is why we run a combined course.

Do I need phlebotomy training before the iPRF course?

Yes. You will be drawing blood on the day, so you need existing phlebotomy competence. If you do not have it, take our Masterclass, which includes phlebotomy certification, or our standalone Phlebotomy course at £350 beforehand.

Who can attend the iPRF training course?

Doctors, dentists, nurses and cosmetologists, plus students holding a minimum Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification and Level 3 and 4 Anatomy and Physiology.

How much does iPRF training cost in London?

The course is currently £695, reduced from £780. This includes live models, all materials and your CPD certificate.

Will I practise on live models?

Yes. We provide live models for every practical session, so you do not need to bring your own. Groups are one or two students per trainer.

Is the iPRF certificate CPD accredited and insurable?

Yes. You receive a personal CPD accredited certificate on completion, which UK aesthetic insurance providers accept when you apply to add the treatment to your policy.
